Project Description

Students of SIS now have access to this wonderful resource online. It will be used at school for research and can also be used at home to help with homework, assignments or just for fun.

Students will be given their username and password (we can’t post it here) – let us know if you hit any difficulties

There is plenty to choose from once you are in the site …

There are also links to more information and help with citation.

Supporting Mother-Tongue Students

There is a handy translation feature in the ‘Tools’ section of World Book pages. This is really useful if you want to develop your comprehension skills in your home language or work with others in your family who find it helpful to work in their first language rather than English. Just because English is our working language at school doesn’t mean you should forget the other languages you use.
